Val Comelico – A holiday in the Dolomites: pure fun

Skiing in the Dolomites offers a delightful mix of cultures. Discover two beautiful picturesque valleys: Val Comelico and Sesto-Sextner Dolomiten. WHAT’S NEW FOR THE 2010-11 WINTER SEASON


The new  “Ski Area Alta Val Comelico” as from this winter  2010/11 is now included in the Dolomiti Superski circuit, the biggest ski network in the world,  the Dolomiti Superski Pass gives you access to all the Dolomiti Superski resorts.
The ski slopes in Padola reach the summit of Col d’la Tenda at 2000m. a starting point for a breathtaking itinerary  around the UNESCO Dolomites Natural Park. An awe-inspiring experience for the skier, a unique opportunity to discover and admire the towering Dolomites of Sesto and Val Comelico. 
A new project is already underway to connect the two valleys and ski resorts and as from this winter the ski areas of  Padola – Valgrande - Passo Monte Croce - Sesto –can be accessed by a new shuttle bus service “SALTO” run by the “Dolomiti di Sesto SpA”. One single ski pass for the entire ski network

The Dolomites Mountain Range offers some breathtaking views of  Croda da Campo, Cima Bagni, Monte Popèra, Cima Undici, Croda Rossa, the famous Three Peaks of Lavaredo, cima Dodici,  Tre Scarperi as far as Rocca dei Baranci. Spectacular mountain  scenery.
