Ice Climbing

Climb the frozen waterfalls equipped with an ice-axe, crampons, a harness and a helmet and this  will certainly give you an adrenalin rush, a geniune mountain adventure, perfect for thrill-seekers.
Ice-climbing is not for the faint of heart and we advise you to hire a professional certified guide, never climb alone, it’s more enjoyable with someone else as well as being a safety precaution.
Ice climbing requires different equipment from regular rock climbing. You need an ice-axe, crampons, a harness, a helmet, warm clothes, gloves and other techincal climbing gear such as rope, ice-screws etc.
Our certified guides can accompany you to mountain faces and gullies in  Val Frisson along the river Piave  as far as the frozen waterfalls of the  Orrido dell’Acquatona  near Sappada.
