WOW! The fantastic slopes of Alta Val Comelico located in Padola which reach the summit of Col d’la Tenda at 2000 metres are as from this winter 2010-11, included in the biggest ski network in the world: the Dolomiti Superski circuit.
The ski area of Comelico is now part of the new Dolomiti di Sesto –Alta Pusteria skiing carousel which means the Dolomiti Superski Pass is also valid here.
One ski pass – one entire ski circuit which includes the new “Giro delle Cime” “The Sexten Dolomites Tour” – 77km of pistes and 31 cable cars and lifts.

Set in the quaint village of Padola the ski-slopes have a base elelvation of 1,200m and a summit elevation of 2,000m.
The slopes exposure is North-East and in a sunny position.
12km of skiable terrain amidst the fir- trees, the ski area boasts wonderful opportunites for all at various levels, black, red and blue runs.
No crowds, no queues, great for couples amd families looking for a relaxing atmopshere set against a background of the majestic Dolomites.
All the runs are served by a new and modern detachable quad chair-lift which reaches the summit in 7 minutes. It’s the first of its kind to be installed in Italy with 2 ski terminals so skiers can disembark midway if they choose to ski at a lower altiutude.
For beginners there is an easy slope served by 2 drag lifts.
At the summit “Col d’la Tenda” you can stop off and admire the stunning views fo the Comelico Valley and the bordering Austrian ridge crests and peaks.
